Public's help sought in theft case

The Elkhart Police Department is asking the public’s help in identifying the owner of this pickup truck, which was involved in a theft on May 2.

ELKHART — The Elkhart Police Department is asking for the public’s help in solving a theft case.

The theft took place on May 2, at 4561 Pine Creek Road when, during the overnight hours, items were taken from the storage area of the business located at the address.

Surveillance footage showed a white full-size pickup truck with what appears to be a black cap.

Detective Scott Johnson is asking for assistance in identifying the owner of the truck. Anyone with information regarding the vehicle’s owner can contact Johnson at 574-389-4720.
