ELKHART — A musical instrument maker named in a pair of environmental cleanup lawsuits has succeeded in getting the law firm involved in both cases disqualified.

Judge Stephen Bowers recently granted a motion to disqualify Ice Miller from two court actions brought against Conn-Selmer in August. The musical instrument company argued there was a conflict of interest because the Indianapolis-based law firm has worked for them in the past, as recently as 2019.
