ELKHART — Memorial Day celebrations in Elkhart returned in full force on Monday, after being scaled back last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a chance to pay tribute to fallen military veterans.

Drawing the biggest crowd was the Elkhart Memorial Day parade on Main Street, where military veterans, police officers and firefighters were joined by martial arts performers, veterans riding in automobiles and more.
