GOSHEN — Election officials in Elkhart County strongly encourage voting by mail for this year’s primary, and in some cases it may be the only option.

The primary election in Indiana was moved to June 2 amid the COVID-19 outbreak. The rules for sending in ballots by mail were also relaxed, allowing more people to vote without physically showing up at a polling place.
