ELKHART — Police were involved in a vehicle pursuit Monday after trying to stop a man suspected in two drug investigations. During the chase, the suspect hit one other vehicle, but no one was injured.

At 5:38 p.m., Elkhart police attempted to stop a silver Kia Optima in the 1300 block of South Nappanee Street. Police said the driver, in addition to being a suspect in the drug investigations, was known to be driving without ever having received a driver’s license. Information released by the Elkhart Police Department did not indicate that the driver was wanted for any violent crimes.
