BRISTOL — A Bristol man is accused of defrauding elderly people out of $85,700 worth of business investments.

James Richard Clayborn, 66, is charged with eight counts of securities fraud for alleged crimes committed between 2009 and 2015. The charges include Class B and C felonies as well as Level 4 and 5 felonies, according to court papers filed Thursday.
