ELKHART — A recreational vehicle will be the star of the show when a “Toy Story 4”-themed RV rolls into town Thursday.
The event – from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the RV/MH Hall of Fame, 21565 Executive Parkway – will feature photo opportunities for fans, film-themed prizes and carnival games.
None of the characters from the animated feature will be on hand, but two film ambassadors will be available to share details about Woody, Buzz and Bo Peep – as well as new characters coming to the big screen, like Forky, Bunny, Ducky and Duke Caboom.
The Toy Story 4 Summer Road Trip is traveling coast-to-coast this summer to generate excitement surrounding the opening of the movie Friday. The plot of the movie centers on a family vacation in a recreational vehicle.
Go RVing has teamed up with Disney and Pixar in celebration of the movie with an integrated marketing campaign “to inspire RV travel that takes family and friends on unforgettable adventures.”
The fully wrapped RV, provided by Elkhart-based Thor Industries, was scheduled to hit 20 cities, including Los Angeles, Dallas, Miami, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Boston, Chicago and Denver.
