ELKHART — A "Toy Story 4"-themed RV rolls into Elkhart as part of a 20-city tour featuring photo opportunities for fans, film-themed prizes, carnival games and family-friendly fun, organizers have announced.

Local "Toy Story" fans are invited to take part in the activities. Two film ambassadors will be on hand to share details about fan-favorite characters Woody, Buzz and Bo Peep as well as new characters Forky, Bunny, Ducky and Duke Caboom, among others.

The event will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, June 20, at the RV/MH Hall of Fame, 21565 Executive Parkway.

"Toy Story 4" Summer Road Trip is traveling coast to coast this summer to generate excitement surrounding the June 21 opening of the movie. The fully wrapped RV will hit 20 cities, including Los Angeles, Dallas, Miami, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Boston, Chicago and Denver.

The story line features a girl who takes the toys on her family's road trip. Woody takes an unexpected detour that includes a reunion with his long-lost friend Bo Peep, whose adventurous spirit and life on the road belie her delicate porcelain exterior. Woody and Bo are worlds apart when it comes to life as a toy, and they soon realize that's the least of their worries.

The movie is directed by Josh Cooley and produced by Mark Nielsen and Jonas Rivera.

Go RVing is providing the recreational vehicle, teaming up with Disney and Pixar in celebration of the movie with an integrated marketing campaign to inspire RV travel.
