Bluffton University commencement
BLUFFTON, Ohio — Ezra Amstutz of Goshe earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration during Bluffton University’s 119th annual commencement ceremony on May 5.
Justin Berg of Goshen earned bachelor’s degrees in early childhood education and intervention specialist.
Edwin Martin of Goshen earned bachelor’s degrees in music and music education. Martin was the recipient of the Music and Performer in Music Distinguished Scholar Awards. Martin also graduated as a member of the 2018-19 Pi Delta Society.
Isaac Zickafoose of Middlebury earned a bachelor’s degree in sport and recreation leadership. Zickafoose was the recipient of the Sport and Recreation Leadership Distinguished Scholar Award.
Founded in 1899 and affiliated with Mennonite Church USA, Bluffton University has an enrollment of around 1,000 students.
Bradley students named to Dean's List
PEORIA, Ill. — More than 1,700 students were named to the Spring 2019 Dean's List at Bradley University, including Lizbeth Jansen of Osceola, who is majoring in Music Education, and Richmond Stoltzfus of Shipshewanam who is majoring in Academic Exploration Program.
To be eligible for the Dean's List, a student must achieve a minimum 3.5 grade point average for the semester on a 4.0 scale.
Area students graduate from Cedarville
CEDARVILLE, Ohio — Local students graduate from Cedarville University during the 123rd annual commencement held May 4.
Emily Broadwick of Granger graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing degree.
Kayla Casaletto of Goshen graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Sport Business Management degree.
Faith Trautmann of Nappanee graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science degree.
Cedarville University, located between Dayton and Columbus, Ohio, is an accredited, Christ-centered, Baptist institution with an enrollment of 4,193 undergraduate, graduate, and online students in more than 150 areas of study.
Hesston College students recognized
HESSTON, Kan. — The Hesston College community celebrated the academic accomplishments of 144 graduates during commencement May 18.
Graduates earning associate of arts degrees included Morgan Lantz of Bristol and Joel Plank of Syracuse.
Graduates earning associate of applied arts and sciences-aviation professional pilot degrees included Daniel Kintigh Jr. of Middlebury.
The registrar’s office also announced the names of full-time students whose spring 2019 semester grades earned them a place on the Dean’s List (3.90 to 4.00), including sophomore Joel Plank of Syracuse.
Located 30 miles north of Wichita, Hesston College is a liberal arts college of Mennonite Church USA.
Brady Corns graduates from Findlay
FINDLAY, Ohio — Brady Corns of Goshen has graduated from the University of Findlay. Corns receivede a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science degree. Corns graduated from the university with the academic designation of cum laude.
Corns was invited to walk in the university's commencement ceremonies on May 4. More than 800 graduates earned doctoral, master's, bachelor's or associate degrees for the academic year 2018-19.
Established in 1882 through a joint partnership between the Churches of God, General Counsel and the City of Findlay, the University of Findlay has nearly 60 majors leading to baccalaureate degrees and offers 11 master's degrees, and four doctoral degrees. More than 3,800 students are enrolled at Findlay.
