ELKHART— The Ruthmere Museum hosted their first black tie fundraiser on Saturday Sept. 16.

“This fundraiser is for the Ruthmere Museum and the programs,” said Bill Firstenberger, executive director at the Ruthmere.

LOL! I'd love to see some of the general public in this town share a night with the "movers and shakers" of Elkhart. Really? I don't think the general public was invited to parties at the turn of the century either. Nice thought though. Events like this are hilarious. No local musicians able to play the piano?
