Majority Builders adds project manager

SOUTH BEND — Majority Builders has added a project manager to its construction management team. Jeffrey Michael Smith holds an associate’s degree in Applied Sciences. His construction management experience includes new construction and renovation in health care, banking and hospitality. Smith is also best practices in healthcare certified.

Majority Builders project managers’ responsibilities include planning, scheduling and control of operations. Duties include management of progress schedules, project budgets, estimating, change order execution, coordination of field activities with the site superintendent and being a liaison between Majority Builders and the client.

Majority Builders specializes in design build, general contracting, office additions, office and retail build-outs, renovation and restoration. It has been serving southern Michigan and northern Indiana since 1973.

Lippert Components hires Lilley 

ELKHART — Lippert Components Inc. announced that Matt Lilley has been hired as regional sales manager. In his new role, Lilley will work within the West Coast region to establish aftermarket partnerships and will work to support the company’s aftermarket growth efforts for RV products.

As regional sales manager, Lilley will be responsible for creating and cultivating relationships with aftermarket partners within the West Coast region, including Arizona, California, Nevada and Oregon. Lilley will focus his efforts on implementing LCI’s elite Gold Circle Dealer Program, and other profit programs, with the company’s aftermarket partners on the West Coast.

Lilley previously served in the U.S. Armed Forces for four years. He was enlisted as full-time, active duty personnel in the U.S. Navy from 2005-2009. Afterwards, Lilley attended Kent State University in Kent, Ohio, and graduated in 2013. Upon graduation, Lilley began a career with MillerCoors Brewery, overseeing its craft and import beverage portfolio as craft and import area sales manager covering Ohio.

LCI acquires Italian firm 

ELKHART — LCI Industries, through  has announced that its subsidiary, LCI Italy, has acquired Lavet, a manufacturer of window blind systems located in Siena, Italy.

The acquisition of Lavet allows LCI to expand its product portfolio in key, in-demand categories for LCI’s customers and take advantage of synergies between the companies.

LCI and Lavet have worked closely with one another for years to service the OEMs of European leisure vehicles, which has helped LCI gain valuable insight into Lavet’s strong management team and product offerings, the company said. 

“We are delighted to have succeeded in bringing Lavet into LCI’s European RV family,” said Michele Checcucci, CEO of LCI RV Europe. “The experience and professionalism of Lavet’s Managing Director, Maurizio Pieramici, together with the solidity and dynamism of LCI’s European RV division team, will be the engine to innovate and strengthen this product category for LCI’s European RV division in the years to come.”
