SENOIA, Ga. — Jamie Carol Hooper and Alfred John Fernandez married Sept. 15, 2012, at the Veranda Historic Bed and Breakfast Inn in Senoia by the Rev. Carson Pittman of Atlanta Westside Church.
The bride’s parents are Jim and Nancy Hooper of Peachtree City, formerly of Elkhart, Ind. The bride is the granddaughter of the late Everett and Rosemary Halsey and Dale and E. Kathleen Hooper, both of Elkhart. The groom’s parents are Al and Denise Fernandez of Roswell.
Julia Stone of Peachtree City and Sarah Williams of Lakebay, Wis., the bride’s sisters, were matrons of honor.
Abby Hollar, the groom’s sister, and nine other friends were bridesmaids. Chloe Williams and Dakota Stone, nieces of the bride, were flower girls.
Alfred Fernandez Sr., the groom’s father, was best man. Eleven friends were groomsmen. Saul Stone and Elijah Williams, nephews of the bride, were ring bearers.
The reception immediately followed the ceremony at Vernanda Historic Bed and Breakfast Inn in Senoia. The couple honeymooned in Spain.
The groom is a pharmacist and the bride is a social worker at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. The couple met on their way to work on a shuttle bus in October 2011.
The groom proposed in Florida on Easter in 2012. Friends and family celebrated the engagement in Atlanta.
