LAFAYETTE — Katherine Losekamp and Matthew Frye were married June 30, 2012, at St. Thomas Aquinas in Lafayette by Father Patrick Baikauskas.
The bride is the daughter of Bill and Becky Losekamp of Cincinnati. The groom is the son of Rick and Melody Frye of Elkhart.
Carrie Anslinger of Cincinnati was maid of honor. Katie Arnold of Fort Wayne, Rachal Fussel of Lebanon, and Molly Bush, Margaret Glaser, Sarah Magness and Aline Tabet, all of Cincinnati, were bridesmaids. Francesca Sansone, cousin of the bride of Cincinnati, was flower girl.
Kyle Wieman of Gibraltar, Mich., was best man. Andy Czarnecki and Derek Lipp, both of Elkhart, Keith Shininger of Fort Wayne, Rob Swanson of Joliet, Ill., Rob Wallace of Elm Grove, Wis., and Jeff Ziebarth of Darien, Ill., were groomsmen. Luke Cochran, cousin of the groom of Fishers, was the ring bearer.
Billy and Tony Losekamp, brothers of the bride of Cincinnati, were ushers.
The reception was at The Trails in West Lafayette immediately following the ceremony. The couple honeymooned in Maui and Oahu and live in Warsaw.
The couple met while teaching high school Sunday school at St. Thomas Aquinas. The couple attended the Purdue Christmas Show in 2010, walked around campus and stopped to pray at St. Thomas Aquinas. The groom proposed in front of the tabernacle after praying.
