District 14 Little League: Riegsecker leads Goshen to Junior Baseball championship

Goshen will advance to the state championship against South Bend District 11 on July 22.

Robbie Riegsecker doubled and tripled in Goshen’s 9-2 championship win over Osolo on Tuesday, July 15. Goshen will advance to the state championship against the South Bend District 11 winner July 22.

In Junior Softball, Gabby Ott doubled and Shelby Yoder tripled en route to Concord’s 14-9 win over Goshen.

In 9-10 Baseball, Concord beat Goshen No. 2, 7-2, with the help of three base hits (including a double) from Tommy Kinsman.

 Satchel Pierce competes in the region portion of the Drive, Chip and Putt contest hosted by the PGA, USGA and The Masters at Crooked Stick Golf Club in Carmel. The final is scheduled for April 5, 2015, on the historic 18th green at Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Ga.
