Chicago Cubs OF Justin Ruggiano scratched with left ankle soreness

CHICAGO (AP) — Cubs outfielder Justin Ruggiano has been scratched from the lineup due to left ankle soreness.

Ruggiano was replaced by Ryan Sweeney for Saturday’s game against Baltimore. Sweeney got the start in right and also batted in Ruggiano’s fifth slot.

Ruggiano is batting .281 with six homers and 28 RBIs in 81 games.
