Fairfield High School's Forrest Glogouski received the 2014 Rollie Hoover Memorial Scholarship, which gives $1,000 annually to a top senior wrestler in Elkhart County.

 Westview High School honored its winter athletes at an awards ceremony Thursday, March 20, announcing team MVPs (from left) Brook Yoder (girls basketball), Maria McCoy (girls basketball), Michael Yankosky (wrestling) and Grace Hales (girls basketball).

Yoder, McCoy, Hales and Yankosky were named team MVPs for the winter sports season.

Awards were given for students who were in wrestling, swimming, basketball, and cheerleading. 

 Jimtown's Cameron Weiss defeated Elkhart Memorial's Chris Morris in the 152-pound championship. Elkhart Memorial hosted wrestling sectionals at Memorial Fieldhouse, and were the overall winners Feb. 1 in Elkhart. Weiss was one of the students named to the Northern State Conference all-conference team.

Northridge athletes in basketball, wrestling, swimming and cheerleading were honored for winter sports achievements.

 Fairfield's Forrest Glogouski (yellow singlet) defeated Concord's DeLawrance Gayfield in the 120 lb championship. Elkhart Memorial hosted wrestling sectionals at Memorial Fieldhouse, and were the overall winners on Saturday, Feb. 1 2014 in Elkhart.
