NAPPANEE — Brayden Glaser, a 2014 NorthWood High School graduate, has signed to continue his academic and golf careers at Grace College in Winona Lake.

Glaser helped NorthWood to the first regional championship and IHSAA State Finals in program history in 2014.

In the Warsaw Regional at Stonehenge Golf Club in Winona Lake, Glaser fired a team-low 73 for coach Brad Duerksen's Panthers.

Glaser shot a second-round 75 at The Legends Golf Club in Franklin.

"I chose Grace because the location was great and because they make me feel at home there,” Glaser said. “I love everything the school had to offer, and I’m excited to help the team reach nationals.”

The Lancers, an NAIA program and member of the Crossroads League, is coached by Denny Hepler.

Glaser plans to study marketing at Grace.

NorthWood, which won its third straight Northern Lakes Conference girls golf title (tying with Wawasee) and went 11-0 in dual matches, added its first-ever sectional title Saturday, Sept. 20, at Warsaw. The Panthers are: (from left, first row) Hope Cripe, Summer Stillson and Madison Richner; (second row) head coach Adam Yoder, Linnzie Richner, Rachel Beebe, Baillie Richner and Alaina Benjamin.
