Elkhart Memorial edges St. Joseph in boys golf

Wawasee moves to 4-0 by topping Fairfield, Elkhart Central, West Noble.

Elkhart Memorial's Braden Sherwood tied South Bend St. Joseph player Tate Heintzelman for medalist honors at 40 as the Crimson Chargers (4-1) edged the Indians 173-175 in boys golf at Christiana Creek.

At South Shore in Syracuse, Jeffrey Moore (39) led Wawasee (167) past Fairfield (174), Elkhart Central (190) and West Noble (194).

The Warriors improved to 4-0. Central's Riley Keagle was the medalist with a 37.
