Marian staves off Central rally

Elkhart Central nearly snapped its 13-game losing streak with a second-half charge against Marian, but the Knights held off the Blazers to win 38-37. Central, led by a 12-point performance by Daitriona Bonds, outscored Marian 27-17 in its second half efforts.

At South Bend Adams, the Eagles cruised past Concord 72-40. Mackenzie Rutter led the Minutemen’s efforts with 11 points. Concord falls to 7-11 on the season.
