Local McDonald's rosters full of boys, girls talent

Michiana High School All-Star Games, which are set for March 31 at Bethel College, have lineups with players who are teammates during the regular season facing off against each other.

MISHAWAKA — Elkhart County area basketball gets to shine some more.

A full set of lineups featuring plenty of local basketball talent is now set for the third annual McDonald's Michiana High School All-Star Games, which are set for March 31 at Bethel College.

Three NorthWood seniors — Will Stueve, Jonathan Wilkinson and Zach Zurcher — will be joined by Ramon Johnson and Filip Serwatka of Concord, Ryan Kupferschmidt of Elkhart Christian Academy, Nate Ritchie of Northridge, Devin Cannady of Mishawaka Marian and Billy Doslak and Jordan Geist of Penn. Two former South Bend head coaches, Tom Hess of Clay and Bob Berger of Riley, will coach the two squads.

On the girls side, Khadijah Moore of Elkhart Memorial, Morgan Olson and Taylor Fielstra of NorthWood, Caroline Buhr and Mayo Solomon of Penn and Erin Guzicki of Marian have been chosen to play. Complete rosters and lineups will be completed next week.

The doubleheader will be staged at the Wiekamp Center beginning at 5 p.m. with the girls game. Tickets are $5 for adults, $2 for students, and children age 12 and under will be admitted free.

Boys Gray Team: Filip Serwatka (Concord), Jonathan Wilkinson (NorthWood), Jordan Geist (Penn), Devin Cannady (Marian), Blake Berger (LaVille), Gage Ott (LaPorte), Jordan Stookey (Warsaw), Jamare Washington (South Bend Riley), Martevious Richmond (Clay), Nick Jeffirs (Crown Point) and Terry Davis Jr. (Adams).
