THREE RIVERS, Mich. — For the first time since 1988, Edwardsburg is a boys basketball district champion.

The Eddies stopped Sturgis’ streak of district titles at three Friday, March 7, with a 46-35 win in the championship game of the Class B Three Rivers District.

Edwardsburg (17-5) will play Benton Harbor around 8 p.m. Monday, March 10, in the second semifinal at the Coloma Regional. The regional final is scheduled for Wednesday, March 12.

Dante Razzano (16 points), Dylan Hulett (10) and Isaac Vite (10) paced Edwardsburg against Sturgis (15-7).

The Trojans got 21 points from Chance Stewart and 11 from Jack Scheske.
