Third-quarter burst pushes Penn to a win

Penn uses 9-0 run after halftime to roll past Plymouth.

MISHAWAKA — Penn won its sixth straight and improved to 15-1 by beating Plymouth 66-45 in boys basketball Saturday, Feb. 15.

Jordan Geist scored 21 points and Billy Doslak added 15 for the Kingsmen, who used a 9-0 spurt at the start of the third quarter to break open a 29-22 halftime advantage.

Mack Mercer led the Pilgrims with 15 points and eight rebounds.
