Fairfield survives high-flying battle

Joe Line and Marucs Rodes combined for 48 for the Falcons.

FREMONT — Fairfield outlasted Fremont in Northeast Corner Conference boys basketball Thursday night, Feb. 13, winning 76-67.

The Falcons and Eagles combined for 56 points in the fourth quarter of a high-scoring battle. Fairfield was led by Joe Line who scored 27 points and Marcus Rodes who added 21.

Fremont was led by Alex Beams who helped the Eagles’ effort with 26 points. Fairfield improves to 9-6 overall and 5-1 in the NECC.
