Andresen among hitting leaders for Miami RedHawks

OXFORD, Ohio — Max Andresen, a Penn High School graduate, is among the leading hitters on the Miami University baseball teams in 2014.

Through his first 23 games (21 as a starter), the junior catcher was hitting .329 with one home run, two triples, six doubles, 18 runs batted in and 13 runs scored. The left-handed swinger hit in the No. 5 spot in the batting order Sunday, April 6, against Akron.

The RedHawks' season is 13-17 overall and 4-5 in the Mid-American Conference through Tuesday, April 8.
