Penn opened the season with a 12-2 victory over LaPorte on Saturday, April 5.

The Penn baseball team opened the 2014 season with a 12-2 victory over LaPorte on Saturday, April 5.

Trailing 1-0, the Kingsmen scored four runs in the bottom of the first to take command. Jake Thoma was the winning pitcher for Penn in the five-inning contest.
