 Andy Milovich, a 1987 South Bend Riley High School graduate, served an internship with the South Bend White Sox in 1990 and since December 2012 has been vice president and general manager for the Myrtle Beach Pelicans. Myrtle Beach and South Bend are now affiliates of the Chicago Cubs.

An Elkhart resident as a young child, Andy Milovich went on to be a South Bend White Sox intern in 1990 and is now vice president and general manager of the Myrtle Beach (S.C.) Pelicans.

Kane County’s loss becomes South Bend’s gain. Upgrade in facilities at Four Winds Field are likely the biggest factor for the switch.
