Blazer senior Ramirez nets three goals and records two assists in first half

Memorial improves to 3-0-1; Hardin figures in both goals as Northridge blanks NorthWood.

Alex Ramirez had three goals and two assists in the first half as Elkhart Central rolled past South Bend Clay 11-0 in boys soccer Thursday, Aug. 28. The host Blue Blazers moved to 6-0.

At Glenn, six players figured in Elkhart Memorial’s goals as the Crimson Chargers (3-0-1) blanked the Falcons 3-0.

At NorthWood, Hunter Hardin scored one goal and assisted on the other as Northridge blanked the Panthers 2-0.

At Bethany Christian, Matthew Smucker and Nate Nussbaum netted three goals apiece as the Bruins handled Lakeland Christian 8-0.
