Granger's Bellville wins Girls State Junior by seven shots

CARMEL — Kari Bellville of Granger roared to victory in the Indiana Golf Foundation Girls State Junior Championship, contested June 9-11 at Twin Lakes Golf Club.

Bellville, a 2014 Penn graduate and Notre Dame recruit, shot 219 over three days, including a 1-under-par 71 on the final day.

She finished seven shots ahead of runner-up Rachel Johnson of Anderson.
