NorthWood baseball falls to Yorktown Tigers in Bellmont Regional

The Panthers’ season ended with a record of 21-6.

DECATUR — NorthWood High School saw its baseball season end Saturday, June 7, with a 6-3 loss to Yorktown High School in the semifinals of the Class 3A Belmont Regional.

The Panthers finish 2014 at 21-6. The Tigers move on to the regional championship game.

The 2014 Panthers (21-5) won three games — 13-5 against Tippecanoe Valley, 11-6 against Whitko and 7-2 against Fairfield — to take the Whitko Sectional, which brought them before the Yorktown Tigers Saturday.
