Crimson Chargers claim share of NLC title

Daniel Asbury added two hits and drove in two for the Crimson Chargers, who finish 10-4 in the NLC, tying NorthWood for the title.

Winning pitcher Jake Tucker had three hits and scored twice as the Elkhart Memorial baseball team claimed a share of the Northern Lakes Conference title by beating Warsaw, 5-4 on Thursday, May 22.

Daniel Asbury added two hits and drove in two for the Crimson Chargers, who finish 10-4 in the NLC, tying NorthWood for the title. 

At Penn, Cole Harlacher slugged a three-run homer in the sixth inning and the host Kingsmen went on to beat Concord, 7-6 in eight innings. Brenden Curry had three hits and stole three bases for Concord.

At Eastside, Westview’s Tarrin Beachy fired a no-hitter as the Warriors beat the Blazers 5-0. Beachy struck out seven, walked three and threw 81 pitches.

At West Noble, Zac Kropf and Lucas Miller each had three hits, as Fairfield crushed West Noble, 20-2. Tony Zook had four RBIs for the Falcons.
