Hosts for area tourney teams are Elkhart Central, Mishawaka, Fairfield, South Bend St. Joseph, Westview and Triton.

If Northridge is to earn its third straight Class 4A softball sectional, the Raiders will need to win three games to do it.

The IHSAA made the tournament draw Thursday, May 15, and the 4A sectional at Elkhart Central will have No. 5-ranked Northridge in the second of three games on Memorial Day (May 26). Elkhart rivals Central and Memorial square off at 10 a.m. The "bye" game in the six-team bracket — Warsaw vs. Concord — follows the Northridge-Goshen game, completing a holiday tripleheader.

The final is slated for 6 p.m. May 30.

Central replaces Warsaw as the host for this field.

Also in 4A, No. 3 Penn will compete in the 4A Mishawaka Sectional at Baker Park. The Kingsmen are to play Mishawaka in the last of three games on May 26.

The semifinals are May 28 with the championship at 7 p.m. May 30. The defending champion is South Bend Riley.

Fairfield won its first softball sectional title in 2013. The Falcons will host a seven-team Class 3A sectional tournament which also includes NorthWood and Wawasee, with one game May 26, two each May 27 and May 28 and the final at 5 p.m. Thursday, May 29.

Newton Park in Lakeville will be the site of the 3A South Bend St. Joseph Sectional. Games are May 26, 27 and 28 (final at 6 p.m.). Jimtown meets Rochester in the "bye" game on May 27.

St. Joseph is the defending sectional champion.

In the 2A Westview Sectional, where Bremen is the defending champion, Westview plays in the first of two games on May 26. Two games are scheduled May 27 with the championship at 5 p.m. on May 29.

Bethany Christian, Elkhart Christian and Hamilton will now take part in a four-team 1A sectional at Triton. Last year, the Bruins, Eagles and Marines went to Lakewood Park Christian for a five-teamer.
