Pinarski's pair of HRs help propel Concord in slugfest

Holman fires four-hit shutout for Jimtown.

Concord pounded out 16 hits — including four homers— and defeated Plymouth 15-10 in a Northern Lakes Conference slugfest Friday, May 9.

Stephen Pinarski had two of the home runs for Concord and drove in three runs, while teammate Nick DeFreese picked up the save in relief and added three hits, a homer and four RBIs.

At Northridge, Andrew Kennedy drove in four runs as the Raiders beat NorthWood 11-7 in NLC play.

At Bethany Christian, Ryan Duckworth had four hits, including two doubles, but the Bruins were edged 9-7 by West Noble.

At Jimtown, C.J. Holman tossed a four-hitter, as the Jimmies beat New Prairie 5-0 in a Northern State Conference battle. Dylan Guldager had two hits and drove in three for Jimtown.
