O'Dell hammers pair of slams for Northridge in Northern Lakes Conference softball game

Brianne O'Dell drilled a pair of grand slams and drove in 10 runs as Northridge overwhelmed host Warsaw 24-2 in a Northern Lakes Conference softball game Wednesday, April 30, that was inadvertently not reported with Wednesday results.

O'Dell went 4-for-5 and added two doubles. Hannah Kistler added a homer among her three hits and scored five times, while winning pitcher Haley Nixon was 4-for-4 with a triple and double while driving in four runs.

Ashley Alvey twirled a five-inning one-hitter and Jimtown erupted for 14 first-inning runs on its way to an 18-0 high school softball victory over host Elkhart Christian on Thursday, May 1.
