Crimson Chargers blank Cavemen in girls tennis

Elkhart Memorial (7-0) gave up just two singles games Wednesday, April 30, in a 5-0 victory against visiting Mishawaka. Goshen moves to 9-2 with win against NorthWood.

Elkhart Memorial gave up just two singles games Wednesday, April 30, in a 5-0 girls tennis victory against visiting Mishawaka.

Led by Krystal Grubb (6-0, 6-0), Corinn Whittaker (6-0, 6-0) and Taylor Freedline (6-1, 6-1), the Crimson Chargers moved to 7-0 on the 2014 season.

With singles wins by Miranda Kay, Kathleen Morrical and Sarah Rush, Goshen (9-2, 3-0) beat Northern Lakes Conference foe NorthWood 3-2.
