Mattingly's 4-for-4 sparks NorthWood in narrow win

Panthers nip Warsaw 6-5; Joecken paces Penn to dominating win at Concord.

Allie Mattingly went 4-for-4 and stole a pair of bases as host NorthWood nipped Warsaw 6-5 in Northern Lakes Conference softball on Tuesday, April 29.

At Concord, Mackenzie Joecken homered, doubled and was the winning pitcher as No. 3 Penn whipped the Minutemen 13-1 in five innings. 

At Bethany Christian, Hanna Hochstetler doubled among three hits and scored twice as the Bruins blanked Glenn 7-0.

At Goshen, Olivia Love hit for the cycle, finished 5-for-5 and drove in six runs as the Redskins' JV beat Elkhart Christian's varsity 18-8.
