Kirkwood powers NorthWood, Berkey sparks Westview

Fairfield, Westview register NECC Tourney baseball wins.

Will Kirkwood slugged a pair of homers among three hits and drove in five runs as NorthWood won a wild 12-9 Northern Lakes Conference high school baseball game over host Warsaw on Tuesday, April 29.

At West Noble, Jake Berkey homered, tripled,drove in five runs and scored four more in Westview's 17-1 win over the Chargers in the Northeast Corner Conference tournament.

Elsewhere in the NECC tournament, Fairfield's Tony Zook slammed two doubles and drove in three in a 14-5 win over Angola.

At Elkhart Christian, Tanner Watson homered in the Eagles' 7-3 loss to Fort Wayne Crusaders.
