GOSHEN — Deja Felder, a Goshen High School senior, has signed to continue her academic and basketball careers at Indiana University Kokomo.

Felder, who scored 43 points in one 2013-14 game, earned all-Northern Lakes Conference honors for the second time. The team MVP helped coach Lenny Krebs' Redskins go 11-11.

"IU Kokomo is getting a player whose best days are ahead," said Krebs. "She will benefit from the higher level of competition and improve her skills. Deja is a quality person."

At IUK, Felder joins a new NCAA Division II program that will be coached by Whitney Farris.

"I am excited by Deja," said Farris. "She is a tough, hardworking kid that our new program needs. She is our fourth recruit to sign."
