Elkhart Memorial to participate in Elkhart County 'Student Hunger Drive'
ELKHART — Elkhart Memorial High School's athletic department is participating April 16-30 in the Elkhart County Student Hunger Drive to benefit Church Community Services.
EMHS plans to donate 50 percent of gate profits from the following home contests: boys track against Concord on Thursday, April 17; girls track against Goshen and NorthWood on Tuesday, April 22; and baseball and softball, both against NorthWood on Wednesday, April 30. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students.
Since there will be no admission charge for the Friday, April 18, tennis match against Elkhart Central, spectators are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items for donation.
There will be a collection box at each entrance.
