Mishawaka school teacher and coach Jim Garrett celebrates retirement on May 18

GRANGER — A celebration of Jim Garrett's 43 years as a coach and educator in Penn-Harris-Madison Schools is scheduled for 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 18, at Juday Golf Course.

Garrett, who coached football for many years and ended a successful run as Penn High School girls golf coach last fall, will retire from teaching at the end of the 2013-14 school year.
