Penn’s Doslak, Geist too much for Riley

SOUTH BEND —Billy Doslak scored 24 points and teammate Jordan Geist added 23 as the Penn boys basketball team took another step toward a Northern Indiana Conference title by beating South Bend Riley 66-53 on Thursday, Feb. 20.

Penn, ranked No. 5 in Class 4A, led by just three at halftime before taking control of the game by outscoring Riley 20-13 in the third quarter.

Christian Wittendorf chipped in 12 points for Penn, now 16-1 on the year. JaQuan Walker led Riley with 16 points.

The Kingsmen can clinch the outright NIC title by beating Marian on Friday, Feb. 21.
