Balanced scoring keys Westview win

TOPEKA — Chandler Aspy scored 12 points to lead a balanced Westview scoring attack as the Warriors defeated Jimtown 49-39 in non-coniference boys basketball action on Saturday, Feb. 15.

Westview led 35-18 entering the fourth quarter before the Jimmies scored 21 points in the final eight minutes to pull closer.

Adam DeShone and Nick Floyd each scored 14 points for Jimtown while Trevor Hobbs added nine. Jordyn Bontrager and Judah Ziakafoose added 10 points apiece to back Aspy.

Jimtown fell to 6-10 on the season as Westview improved to 12-4.
