Penn takes top spot in NIC

With Penn's win and a South Bend Washington loss, the Kingsmen move into first place in the Northern Indiana Conference.

MISHAWAKA — Penn moved to first place in the Northern Indiana Conference after trampling boys basketball rival Mishawaka 77-48 on Thursday, Feb. 13.

Jordan Geist anchored the Kingsmen with 17 points, while Christian Wittendorf chipped in 12.

Penn improved to 14-1 overall and 5-1 in the NIC, and is the lone once-beaten in the league with South Bend Washington’s loss to South Bend Riley.
