Northridge dominates and wins NLC swim title

MIDDLEBURY —The Northridge boys swim team eight events on Monday, Feb. 3 and cruised to the team title in the Northern Lakes Conference Swimming and Diving championships.

Coach Joe Keller’s Radiers, who were a perfect 7-0 in the NLC rebular season, posted 516 points, with runner-up Warsaw coming in with 407. Concord was third (303), with Wawasee fourth (237) and Elkhart Memorial fifth(224).

Northridge’s Jonathan Stoller won two individual events (200 IM and 100 butterfly), while also helping two Raider relay teams to wins, as did teammate Spencer Lehman (200 free and 500 free). Warsaw’s Spencer Davidson also took home titles in the 100 back and 50 free.

Talyor Berkey of Northridge won the diving title with 452.24 points, and he was followed by three Goshen divers, Hudson Kay (378.20, Sam Bowser (376.15 and Jacob Isnogle (374.30).
