NLC Warsaw tops Goshen with foul shooting

Redskins fall to 0-3 in NLC.

WARSAW — Behind a 19-of-23 shooting effort at the foul stripe, Warsaw was able to hold off Goshen 48-41 in an NLC boys basketball Friday, Jan. 17.

The Tigers, who improved to 9-3 overall, had just 12 field goals, but five were 3-pointers. Jordan Stookey led all scorers with 19 points. He also added four rebounds and three assists. Nate Pearl had 10 points for Warsaw.

Austin Woolett’s 14 points and seven rebounds led the Redskins, who fell to 0-3 in the NLC.
