NLC Maxwell scores 18 in Chargers victory

Maxwell, Giger leads Chargers to NLC win.

SYRACUSE — Don’t look now, but Elkhart Memorial and Northridge are the only two unbeatens in NLC boys basketball.

Cameron Maxwell scored 18 points and Dimitri Giger added 15 as the Crimson Chargers beat Wawasee 56-46 Friday, Jan. 17. Maxwell drilled four 3-pointers and added four assists while Giger pulled down six rebounds.

Memorial and Northridge sit atop the NLC at 3-0 after the Raiders clipped NorthWood 54-52 Friday night.

Gage Reinhard was a one-man gang for Wawasee with 28 points.
