Wawasee ground game too much for Elkhart Memorial

SYRACUSE — Brandin McCullough powered his way for 218 rushing yards as Wawasee held off Elkhart Memorial 28-20 in a NLC high school football game Friday, Oct. 11.

The Warriors, 4-4 overall and 3-3 in the league, pounded out 309 rushing yards while Gage Reinhard threw for two touchdown passes.

Nathan Troutman ran for a TD and passed 61 yards to David Doyle for another. The Crimson Chargers dropped to 2-6 (1-5 NLC).

Memorial finishes its regular season next week at home to Northridge while Wawasee travels to Goshen.
