Morgan tallies 3 TDs as Riley blanks Marian

SOUTH BEND — Daigien Morgan rushed for two touchdowns and passed for the game’s first TD as surging South Bend Riley blanked Marian 20-0 in a lightning-shortened high school football game Friday, Oct. 4, at Jackson Field.

The Wildcats (4-3 overall, 4-1 Northern Indiana Conference) won their third straight outing and second in a row by shutout.

The Class 3A No. 7-rated Knights (4-3, 3-2) were blanked for the first time in the regular season since losing to Penn 31-0 in Week 3 of 2010.

The hosts outgained Marian 309-31 before the contest was called with 9:29 remaining.
