Jimmies use big 1st half to beat Culver

Olson rushes for 134 yards on six carries; Schieber returns punt for first TD.

JIMTOWN — Jimtown roared to a 42-0 lead by halftime and won 49-0 over Culver in a game that was called with 6:35 left in the third quarter due to lightning Friday, Oct. 4, at Knepp Field.

Marquis Schieber, Nik Olson and Chance Livings scored two touchdowns apiece as the Class 3A No. 8 Jimmies improved to 5-2 overall, 4-1 in the Northern State Conference.

Jimtown rushed for 320 yards — including 134 on six carries by Olson — while limiting the Cavaliers (2-5, 1-4) to 37 yards overall.
