ELKHART — The Plymouth at Elkhart Memorial high school football game has been postponed from 7:30 p.m. Friday to the same time on Saturday, Sept. 21, at Charger Field.

Lightning struck a transformer and electric box at Memorial, according to assistant athletic director Phyllis Tubbs.

As replacement parts will not be available until Friday afternoon, there is no guarantee on when power will be restored, according to Tubbs.

If lights are not available by Saturday, the game will be played at Central High School’s Rice Field.
