NorthWood’s Heidi Morganthaler roared to the individual crown by nine shots, while the Panthers’ second-place team finish in the Northern Lakes Conference girls golf meet Saturday, Sept. 14, at Maplecrest in Goshen was nonetheless good enough to earn them the league’s overall crown.

Morganthaler won her fourth 18-hole event this season, tying Amy Thompson’s school record set in 2008 and matched in 2009.

The Panthers’ Adam Yoder was chosen NLC Coach of the Year by his peers.
